Kermit Collar:

c/o 24 sts

1 – k

2 – p

3 – working on just 3 stitches

 slip 1, k 1, psso, k 1

 p 2 tog

cut yarn and pull through stitch

reattach yarn for next 3 stitches

 continue this way

If any one knows how to do this without having to cut the yarn and reattach every time, let me know!

(an alternative would be to cut the collar out of felt)

Finishing…

sew the leg seams and arm seams as in the other pocket/Izzy dolls. Stuff the head, shaping a little with your fingers so the wide mouth stands out, which is should do fairly easily. Fold each foot in half and sew around. The y/o “picot” sts form the toes. Sew to bottom of the legs.

Eyes are buttons. I put a largish french knot behind each eye to make them stand out a little bit.

Collar needs work. Any thoughts, suggestions are welcome!Frog Pocket Doll
